What I think about the bad guys

When dealing with demons, malicious spirits, poltergeists, or another inhuman entity, the information below was how I was raised to understand how they attack and how to repel them. This does not mean to say that I am against other thought processes or beliefs on the matter and I am indeed interested in hearing other thoughts on the matter.
Things (demons, malicious spirit, etc.) usually try to keep you in fear, intimidated, and tired. This is where you will sense a strong presence of being watched and they get real close to you so you can feel them around you. Other times it may stay back and move little things so that you can hear something moving but can't see it. This is just to increase fear. It is trying to wear you down. Other ways they attack is to play with your emotions. If something makes you sad or mad, they whisper to you so that you dwell on whatever it is, unknowingly to you of course.

The way to fight this, you have to stand your ground and keep your faith in the Lord strong. My advice is to stay strong in your faith and spirit. The worse you get the stronger the thing gets. Have no fear and recite Psalms 91 and the Lord’s prayer every night before you go to bed. For good measure a couple times during the day doesn’t hurt either. HAVE FAITH IN AND BELIEVE EVERY WORD. It doesn’t hurt to even recite the prayers every night, regardless if you have activity or not.

If the noises, whispers, and strange emotions come back don't let it work. Every time this happens say your prayers loud and proud, or to yourself, but be casual and calm while you are doing it. Things (demons, malicious spirits, etc.) like this feed off your emotions: fear, sadness, hate, lust and so on. If you have a bad day or someone makes you mad, blow it off, don't let it get to you, and stay happy. I know it is hard but don't fall for it and keep love in your heart.

Since meeting Rich, STPI’s House Cleanser and a Minister, he has re-confirmed the practices and beliefs mentioned.

If needed, I hope this helps. Feel free to share your own thoughts and beliefs on the subject.

The Beyond Natural- Landra's Files

Greetings Paranormal Enthusiasts!

I decided that I, Landra, have been a silent for too long. He he... Here I am hosting a paranormal web show and all anyone hear's is interviews and details on cases', evidence, and the tidbit of what I like to deem as paranormal general info.

Hosting the show is great, although challenging at times because I have an extremely demanding schedule. I do more than host. I help with website maintenance, public relations for TBN (The Beyond Natural), and research paranormal topics through watching videos, visiting other sites, and learning.

When I was approached with hosting the show I wanted to make sure that the show's goals aligned with my own. I don't just want to talk about cases (highlights and evidence). Don't get me wrong, seeing is believing lol! At the same time I want to bring clips of not just the exciting or scary things that can occur, but clips that make you learn and develop investigator skills.

Let's just it's a little difficult to do. I know there are tons of opinions and belief structures. A person's beliefs are usually formed from experience, as with everything in life. I don't want to force any of our practices on anyone, just give some best practices and other potential things to think about. Stimulation of the mind per se.
The show is really about connecting, presenting different belief systems, and covering the topics that you don't always get a lot of answers on.
Unfortunately I am only receiving the views of STPI and a few others. I would love to see more interaction and thoughts on the information presented either via comments on our videos or by simply emailing STPI with your thoughts on a topic. Heck, make your video with your opinions and send it to me! I want to hear what you think.

So far we have had interviews on Paranormal Basics, The Ghost Box, Reincarnation, Spiritual Healing, Sensitives, Religion and the Paranormal, and Paranormal Tech. I can say with complete honesty that our guest gurus answers may not always be in agreement with other beliefs or even my own, but I like providing a different look at things. I was taught to see things from both sides, and be able to respectfully acknowledge the side that you would not necessarily agree with.

That being said, I can only hope that TBN continues to flourish and that we continue to receive positive, constructive feedback that will allow us to cover the topics paranormal investigators and others want to know more about. Even if that means we present the information with the alternative points of view.

-Landra Graf, Host of The Beyond Natural

P.S. I want to say BIG THANKS to our regular viewers of the show. I appreciate you.

Motto Clarity

I get asked frequently, ‘What the heck does your team motto mean?’ or the comment ‘That motto is a little presumptuous, isn’t it?’ This post is to explain all of that.

Team Name: Supernatural Truth Paranormal Investigations

Team Motto: ‘The above normal searching for the beyond natural.’

As I mentioned in a previous post the definition of paranormal is ‘anything beyond the normal range of experience or scientific explanation’. Supernatural is defined as ‘anything above or beyond what one holds to be natural or exists outside natural law and the observable universe’. That being said, let’s break the motto down in comparison to our name.

In essence are motto states the combination of the Supernatural and Paranormal, and the search for the things outside of natural law that are beyond scientific explanation. Also another way of looking at it:

‘Above Normal’- investigators are essentially above normal because each and everyone one of us, on any team, has experienced something beyond the normal range of experience or something paranormal. Therefore our motto does not mean that our investigators are better than anyone else or that we exist at a higher level than others. It merely means that the people who work in the paranormal investigation field have had their scope and understanding of normal reality altered.

‘Beyond Natural’- this is based on the definitions of the words paranormal and supernatural. If something is beyond scientific explanation then it can be deemed beyond the natural order of the world as humans basically know it to be.

Hopefully this will help everyone understand the motto a little better.

Fact vs. Theory

I recently heard a quote from a poet, Maya Angelou- "There's a world of difference between facts and truth. Facts can obscure the truth."

The person who posted this quote infered this from the quote:

As this applies to the study of the paranormal, what is fact to one is not
fact to another. Imagine what wonderous truths are hidden behind the facts of
non-believers....
Just a thought...

Now I do believe this is a good quote, but the quote relating to the paranormal... I tend to disagree. Simply because of the word 'fact'. In the paranormal field as of now there are no facts, only theories. My theories may not match yours or anyone else's. Through science and scientific equipment we are trying to prove are theories as fact.

The definition of paranormal is:

par·a·nor·mal (pr-nĂ´rml) adj.
Beyond the range of normal experience or scientific explanation: such paranormal phenomena as telepathy; a medium's paranormal powers.

If something is beyond scientific explanation then it would not be fact, merely a hypothesis awaiting to be proven. Hence those theories would have
no truth... yet.

So I find it humorous when people attempt to prove the paranormal does not exist or they attempt to disprove people's paranormal theories (this doesn't include the original poster of the quote above). How can you prove something doesn't exist when the paranormal is essentially what exists outside of our experiences and scientific explanation? Again it only leaves you with theories.

Which leads to the next point: If you were to prove any type of paranormal theory existed then essentially it would not be paranormal anymore as it would now fall within a scientific explanation.

What do you think?
